2004 Impala HVAC blower won't turn off.

After (stupidly) braving a blizzard and going through quite a few snow drifts and getting stuck in a ditch, I've got my '04 impala up and running well with one exception. The fan for the heater will not turn off, even when the car is turned off and the key is removed from the ignition. The only way I've been able to get it to turn off is to remove the fuse from the fuse box beneath the hood.

Any thoughts on why this might be happening?

The heater fan is controlled by the HVAC module in the dash (the doodad with the switches and sliders). I'm betting that there's a short internally to that. You should be able to grab one off of ebay for about 30 bucks.
