'64 Impala ignition puzzle

I'm trying to solve a stumble and high speed miss that could be a primary voltage problem with my '64 300HP 327.
Since there is no ballast resistor, where is the resistor wire? Is it the wire to the + side of the coil or the - wire to the distributor?

It could also be point bounce.
