Here I am with a very exciting proposition to you all...

I will provide the winners of the I.O.T.M. contests with a FREE "IOTM" sticker for their vehicle.
It will resemble the impalaforums.com sticker that I'm selling, but will be a special IOTM version.
It will include the month and year of your win.
+
As a favor to all of the 2014 winners that have already WON this year; I will send you a private message requesting your home address so that I can send you yours.

I am sorry to all the prior years winners, I can't go back any further than that (for free)

However, if you are a winner of the IOTM from a previous year, and you'd like a decal stating so:

Just send me the month/year of your win + your email address and your home address.
Then I'll send you an invoice for you to make the purchase.
The price will be $3.50 shipped (Canada $1.00 more)

BUT 1st...

As a forum, we need to decide ONE THING...

What color will these NEW IOTM stickers be???

Silver
Black
Blue
Red
Yellow
Chrome
Etched Glass
or
GOLD

???
Voting will end on Halloween

Hey, that's awesome of you Cin!

If they all have to be the same color, I'd say a neutral color like silver or black would be best. That way they'll look good no matter what color combo the car they're going on is.

What does "etched glass" look like? That might be the best for a "general" color. I don't think that black would really work since most people apply these to windows (I think) and black probably wouldn't show up very well on glass. White is also "neutral". But I'm leaning towards the etched glass depending on exactly what it looks like...

EDIT: Duh... White isn't even an option! What's up with that?! Racist!!! :-)

I actually like the black sticker on tinted glass, but most people probably wouldn't. I wonder how the etched looks on tinted glass

Cool beans . Thanks CinRed!

Would it be possible to get 4 of them in chrome, even if I hook you up with some loot to offset whatever costs??? I would prefer the chrome ones to keep with the chrome badges and stuff I have on the car, plus it'll stand out on the chrome.

If not, then silver would be fine. I would like a set of 4 irreagrdless, so I can have two for the sides (one for each side...), one for the back window, and a spare incase one of them gets messed up.

Either way, let me know and I'll be glad to give you a couple bucks for the set of 4 in either the silver or chrome if I could get them...

Again, very awesome of you to do this, and I will definitely be in touch for a few of the other ones anyway at some point!

Hello,
I don't mind doing this. It's something that I feel needs to be done.
I spend so much time on here b.s'ing that the relatively small amount that I'll spend doing this is a not a hard pill to swallow.
You're all welcome none the less.

The way I have to purchase the stickers is 6 of the same color at one time.
the image used can be different.
We have the well known image and soon izzy and I will have an iotm image.
I think we're going to stay with those for the time being (foreseeable future).

I want to do all one color so that I can order them all at once and not be stuck ordering a bunch of a certain color for one individual.
For instance:
If Donmateo ever won and he wanted yellow.
Well I'd have to order 6 yellow just for his one sticker.
By voting and choosing one universal color I can save myself $$$ and a headache.

My plan is to have another vote for 2015 towards the end of the year and every year after (as long as I have a supplier).

Lazer:
I will gladly do the chrome that you're requesting because that color is almost sold out already and I need to order more anyway.
One of them is free to you but the rest you'll have to cover.
What I need you to do is send me a pm with your specific order (reg/iotm) so that I can order the correct amount.
I won't send you an invoice though until izzy and I finish with the design and I make the order.

You got it, a PM is on it's way.

I was initially going to do a combination between the IF.com stickers I got from Izzy, and the IOTM stickers Rene was offering. I planned on just cutting the "Impala Of The Month - May 2014" just below the "ImpalaForums.com"... But his has me intrigued to see what comes of the new design. If possible, can we all see what the new design is once you have it and post it here?

And I'm gonna have to wait until spring to get them on the car, because I know the warmer weather will help adhesion to the glass... but I'm dying to have and get these none the less!!!

Why do I have to be the PITA who wants yellow?

Also, ya'll better vote gold or be banned. Silver is for second place, and if you ain't first you're last!

Because you're the most popular person on this site.

I think Gold would be BEST too, but I'm going to save my vote in case there is a tie.

Is it a shiny gold (like the chrome?) I probably wouldn't want to put that on my car... and it would be a shame to just have the sticker laying around...

Honestly, I probably wouldn't put ANY "stickers" on my car personally, *especially* on the outside - but if I were going to do it, I agree with @RYD, that I *definitely* wouldn't want gold! A lot of us go through a lot of trouble just to "cover up" the damn gold bow-ties - I certainly wouldn't want to add more gold that matches absolutely nothing else on the car!

This is the problem with trying to come up with a "standard" color - you'll always have sooooo many different opinions. That's why I think that the etched glass may be the best option since most people are putting them on their windows and etched glass is completely neutral, would almost look like its, well, etched into the glass and wouldn't clash with any colors.

Would need to see the etched glass sticker on an actual window first though. Really curious to see how it looks on both regular and tinted windows.

See jt, that's why I like the black. If you look closely, you can see it (and it's easy to see from the inside), but from a distance on the outside, it doesn't look like you have any stickers at all!

It sure would be nice to see pictures of the different colors "installed" (even if just "installed" using removable tape or something).

@Cinred - any chance of getting pictures of the different colors on one of your windows? Like I said, I'm not talking about permanently installing them - just holding them in place for a few seconds while you take a picture of each (could even use a piece of scotch tape or something). You could still sell them after taking the pics...

Would be a huge help to see what they would look like before voting/buying...

Unfortunately jt, you can't really just "hold them up to the window."

Have you ever gotten a cut vinyl sticker? It comes sandwiched between two sheets of contact paper. You remove one side, which exposes the sticky side of the sticker, and apply the whole sticker down on the window. Then you remove the other piece of contact paper, leaving the sticker installed on the window. There is no way to see the sticker without removing the top layer of contact paper, and once that is done, it can not be installed properly.
