Talking What's up?

I've been checking out the forum for the last couple of days (at work). Finally joined when I got home. Just bought a 95 Impala SS. I also have a 05 Impala LS Sport. I love these cars. I'm a machinist from northern Alabama and can't wait to get into working on my 95 with help from all of you out there.

Welcome, you and I could be partners If you are interested.

I am partial to the 95,but thats only due to my lack of knowledge about the 05.

Pictures of the 95 are always appreciated. Lorne.

Welcome.
To make proper use of internet forums in general you will have to assume MOST of the info is bad. Put in the time to figure out who actually knows what they are doing, then and only then should you start modding your car.

There are relatively few of us here who really know LT1 performance, would be great to get a few more guys here interested in it so we can have some good discussion.

Please don't be one of those guys who thinks a Granatelli and a Hypercrap are the answer, or just as bad one of those guys who thinks a $700 rotating assembly stroker is going to make awesome power.

You can add about 80% more HP than you have now without doing an engine build, no boost, no nitrous. Good boltons and good heads(ported GM NOT aftermarket) and cam.

We are trying Dwayne!

The main thing is to research, research, research! Then move to the modifications. Like Dwayne said, talk to people who really know what they are talking about, so you do not make mistakes.

It's mostly stock, for now. It has had the exhaust changed out with a complete cat-back Flowmaster system. Unless you consider the addition of a baby seat a mod,
