I'm new here from Plano

Hi, I'm Ray.
I just moved to TX & my '95 Chevy p/u wouldnt pass inspection.
So I went and bought me a BRIGHT Red 2011 LT.

No mods yet.

Fyi: Most of what I'm going to do to it, I saw on this site.
Thanks for feeding my addiction of changing my auto's...

Mods to come are (in NO specific order):

  • LED tails
  • RED LED interior lights
  • Tint 10% on rears 25% on fronts
  • De/Re Badge
  • Under hood paint
  • Resonator delete
  • New muffler w/ chrome tip
  • Chrome door handles
  • Chrome pillars
  • Chrome gas cap cover
  • Chrome 3rd tail bezel
  • Chrome side moldings on doors
  • 18 or 20" chrome wheels
  • Wheel size will determine if I drop it or not
  • Either chrome wire mesh grill inserts
  • or
  • paint the stock black plastic grills RED
  • Body matched eyebrows for headlights
  • Trunk lip spoiler...
I know, I know; "chrome won't get me home" but the wife says N O to the Blackout treatment I described to her!

She said I could chrome it out or nothing...
And I wanna mod..!

Gotta figure out how to upload pics then I will. ( Although I could just post a generic "RED Impala" pic off the Net. 'cause it's bone stock as of now [Not to be a smart arse] )

It's a 3.5L

It killed me to let him go but I couldn't have gotten into the car w/o the trade in.

After having the truck for 3yrs in 3 different states I can honestly say; It doesn't matter where you live, you NEED a p/u.
I'll get another after I get out of school & start welding..!

Forgot a thing or two.

I'm also planning on getting
  • Dashboard carpet embroidered with "IMPALA"
  • A strip of chrome vinyl on the top of the rear bumper, under the trunk, to hide the scratches left by the previous owner.
  • Chrome weather strips on roof
  • And I would like to put LED blinkers in my mirrors for lane changing safety
  • Red LED undercar light bar in the rear, tied into my brake lights
That's all I can think of that I forgot... I'll let ya know if there's any more... LoL
