New Guy from UPSTATE NY
I've been looking at alot of stuff on this forum and finally figured I'd join. I bought a 91 caprice afew months back and had the tranny go on it, so I started looking for an Impala. I don't know how this lady got the Impala I bought, nor did she know what she had. The interior was trashed, the spoiler was gone, the rims had been changed and the grill broke. Took the driver side doors off the 91 and the hood, got bonneville seats and door panels from a roadmaster. In the process of getting it all done. It's not going to be original but it'll be what I like and want.

Here's what I got so far.
Here's some pics, the car is at the painters now, I'm working on the door panels, and looking for some rims for it. I have a set of 9C1 rims but no center caps. The door panels are off a Bonnie, I like the pull handles on them better than the ones on the Caprice or Impala.

I got a question for you guys, The car was badged w/ Impala badging, had grey leather seats w/ Impala logo, dash has Impala SS on it, trunk had holes where spoiler went and included broken spoiler, had broken Impala grill, no moldig on it, but I thought 94 Impala's didn't have the chrome strip on the bumpers, no? Vin says it's a Impala, trunk info sheet has LT1 on it, but I'm wondering if it's a clone or a real impala?

Stopped by the shop today
Stopped by the shop thats painting my car, so far so good. Not much body work needed, just where the Bonnie door had the molding connected. It has my parts car rims on it right now.

Thanks
I plan on putting up all the pictures of the build till it's done. (Who knows when that will be) Frankfort is 7 miles east of Utica. Bought the car in Syracuse. Tuesday I'm going to look at two cars for winter rats, a 93 Caprice w/ 84k, and a 95 9C1 w/ 130k. I'll let you all know what I come up with.
