New guy with an 84 Caprice needing TLC

I bought this for $500 and so far have replaced the radiator, thermostat, fan clutch, battery, plugs, wires, O2 sensor, coolant temp sensor, wiper blades, drivers valve cover gasket, air filter, PCV valve, and changed the oil. It has 139,000 miles and runs OK. It looks outa place in my driveway with my 57 Chevy BelAir and my wifes Caddy XLR but it was gonna get the engine/trans pulled and crushed. I could not let that happen and wanted a spare car so I saved it.

Just noticed antifreeze coming from the front edge of the intake. I'm thinking the aluminum is corroded/pitted causing the leak. I'll tear it down tomorrow. I just went through my garage and boxes of spare parts. I found an older reman Q-jet not c.c. with the same linkage and side fuel inlet and several non c.c. HEI's. I think I'll ditch the computer since it has a miss at idle(other post) and the EGR valve diaphragm is bad.

Some of my plans are to lower it around 2 inches, repaint the upper body the original color first(easy weekend project), ditch the wire hub caps, paint the steelies the darker brown like on the lower body, and put on some police/derby caps.
