dual circuit master cylinder conversion..
hello folks,
first time poster. i'm a long time owner of a more door 60 belair. it has manual 4 wheel drums and a single circuit master cylinder. i'm getting ready to go through the brakes again and have been looking to see if i can swap in a dual circuit master cylinder like on the 62's for my spindly single circuit. is this a direct swap? or does anyone know what year would be a drop in if any, or what one may work with light modifications. thank you for your help. |

Dual Circuit Conversion
My suggestion, if you haven't already done the swap, get a disc brake conversion with the dual circuit system from Stainless Steel Brake Corporation. I put one of their kits on my '66 Mustang and like it. My '65 Impala is getting a power disc brake conversion. I think you'll like it.
