Driven one pf the mustangs you are talking about. It would beat you, but it would be a good race. You would beat him off the line, but I think it would overtake you a touch over halfway. I think that the 5 speed stick is what makes the difference. He can stay in his powerband better than you can, and his final drive ratio is probably higher than yours, giving the mustang the upper hand.

yeah she's into the stuff for sure, she has regal gs, its bone stock except for couple lil things. she couple the lsx emblems, spoiler, floor mats, n the slp grille but doushe backed into car awhile back we just replaced it with cheaper ss grille. i've been trying to get her to do lil something more to her gs, of course much more potential outta the box then my impala.

How did the race go? IMO, the Mustang might get you off the line, due to the RWD vs FWD thing. Not sure what any of the power #s are for either car though.

funny thing is he t-totally has backed out, instead he asked me to race his brothers 86 iroc z28, couple bolt ons, took that car from a 15mph roll and won by 5 cars, and did by dead stop, he spun so horribly it wasn't funny, n was a thrashing there as well, on the roll he has me by about a car n half down low, once the impala woke up i started to gain on him very quickly and rolled by him....ole iroc didn't have what it took,

finally got the v6 stanger to race, he did very well was impressed with his car, i still had him by about 2 cars in the end,(i also was sprayin) think it more less could have been driver error. just young kid. i was actually impressed wasn't all haggered up like most kids do when they get a hold of something.
