I think its a 1968 327 (3914660 casting number). 18T247922 partial VIN. T0509HA engine code. If I am correct this information tells me I have a Tonawanda made 275hp 327 made on May 09, 1968 for a full size/Camaro. Can anyone confirm this for me or steer me in the right direction?

I removed the oil pan and everything looks pretty good, the engine has been rebuilt at some point in time (all rod ends are stamped with numbers). The cross hatch pattern in the cylinders is a little tight but I think they will be ok. I plan to throw this engine in on of my caprices but I need to figure out if the heads have been modified to run on unleaded. If they have not then I mite throw my vortecs on it and have a decent 327.
