Installing Aftermarket Radios - Get the Harness!!!

We get a lot of questions regarding aftermarket radio harnesses. Unfortunately, a lot of people go to the idiots at Best Buy and talk to a "geek" that wants to charge them an insane markup for a harness. And then, thinking they'll save themselves $200, they'll just cut into the stock harness assuming that all will go well with the install.

90% of the time, this causes more headaches than getting an adapter harness.

Crutchfield.com has a great selector for finding the proper equipment for your vehicles. Just select the radio you're wanting to install, and then pick out your car's model, year, and applicable stock sound setup and it will recommend the correct harness for your car (as well as if the radio will actually fit or not).

But some of us are lazy and don't want to do that, so I'll list some of the more common ones here:
