How to remove the dash bezel?
You will need to remove the dash bezel if you want to gain access to any of those parts: - The cluster, - The hazard/turn signal flasher, - The Radio/Cassette/CD player, - The A/C controls. The only tool you need is a 7mm socket (or a Philips screw driver). First, remove the fuse covers on both sides of the instrument panel, then remove the driver’s kick panel (you don’t need to remove the passenger’s kick panel to remove the bezel). The panel is held in place by 2 clips, ![]() To detach the light, turn it counter-clockwise and pull. ![]() Next, remove the 2 screws shown in the image below, ![]() After removing the 2 screws, pull the panel horizontally outward to unclip it ![]() Unplug the trunk release switch using a small flat screw driver, ![]() The bezel is held in place using 5 screws (4 on the driver’s side and 1 on the passenger side), the rest is just snapping in and out. Remove all 4 screws on the driver’s side, one of them is located inside the fuse box compartment. ![]() The passenger’s side screw is located inside the fuse box compartment, ![]() After removing that screw just pull the bezel outward, ![]() Here you see 4 of the clips used to hold the bezel in place on the passenger’s side, ![]() You don’t need to use a screw driver or anything to snap out the ignition switch bezel, just pull the dash panel out and the switch bezel snaps out easily! ![]() Keep pulling the bezel from all sides until make sure it comes free, next is the hazard flasher, the flasher can not be pushed in, it has to come out, to do that you have to squeeze the flasher out by pushing on both sides of it. To reach the flasher, you have to squeeze your hand behind the bezel and try to reach the flasher from behind and push on both sides while pushing the flasher out, ![]() ![]() After freeing the flasher, pull it out and unplug the connector from the back of it then remove it, After removing the flasher remove the bezel, at some point you may need to start the car and shift all the way to 1, to do that remove the key from the keychain (make sure the park brake is fully engaged). To remove the cluster: The cluster is held in place using 4 screws on each corner, unscrew all of them then unplug the connector located on the top right corner. ![]() Its for a cluster swap but should help u out __________________ any asshole can make a v8 fast It takes a special breed oof stupid/crazy asshole to make a v6 fast http:www.hellfiremotorsports.com/garage |

Help
I saw this and it is a wonderful Help but I was wondering how you got your hand behind to get the hazard switch out, its not very clear. Did you just pull the dash away enough to get your hand behind it?

You can do that, or you can slip a small flat blade in from the front and release the clips, the switch should come out the front then.

You guys are making it way too hard for the hazard switch. I just pull the entire dash and the wrong harness is log enough to accommodate removal from the top. Lots of view as well.
