I didn't see a thread like this.. most forums generally have them.
Just curious what people have run at the track, and what mods they have.

I've never tracked my Impala, but it feels like a 16 second car to me.

It's spring time soon so I'm starting to get the itch [I'll clarify before anyone says anything, the itch to work on cars ]

My really heavy chevy has run 8.30 in 1/8 mile which calculates to 13.14 in 1/4 mile. And that was before a few more mods that i have now. Should be close to 8.0's in the 1/8 and in the 12's in 1/4 mile now.

95 Roadmaster. 13.52 @ 99mph. Stock heads, stock cam, no cheating with an "Adder". CAI, bigger stock MAF, bigger stock ported TB, valvesprings, 1.6 roller rockers, tune, headers, catback, 3.73's , 3000 stall converter, aftermarket rear LCA's.

My 96 Caprice was definately faster, and was a low 13's, high 12's car. I never ran it at the dragstrip. I had to part it out to buy the Roadmaster. But, we shall see how the Roadmaster runs with the 96 Caprices engine. Whenever it is, that I get it back together. The Caprice was largely the same, with the exception of a larger cam. Still not very big. GMPP 845.



Bone stock, my 94 Caprice 9C1 ran 14.86 with a set of drag radials. It was HOT out too. That engine now lives in my other 95 Roadmaster, "Jesus". Still doesn't run right. I expect this car to be a screamer when ever I get it sorted out.
