Help!!Problem with the Chevy Impala..

I have the 2001 Chevy Impala an was good till now but before two days,it doesn't start at once and takes at least three or four times before restarting. Its catch and the nature of the riders when it does finally start,seems almost expired. Not sure if that makes sense, but I do not know how else to explain it.I replaced the spark plugs and also took it for service to the dealer, who could not find anything wrong with that. We are at a loss of what could be and I am desperately trying to solve this problem.Can some one help ?
