Both my passenger side front and back are completely pooled in water. It's too much for the a/c, but I found it wet way up high near the a/c fan under the rubber fire wall. Can it be anything but the windshield leaking? Thanks

Check the seal on the passenger compartment air filter. It is located under the windshield cowl. If the seal on it is bad then you will get water into the car.

I had the same problem, when it rained my carpet would be wet on the passager side on my 04 impala SS what l found is that the cabin air filter that is in the cowl is not seated correctly and allowing water to enter the inside of the car. Im not sure if your Gen has one. But if its only when you have the A/C on then check the drain where the evaporator is in the car its most likely plugged not allowing the water to drain. Check under the car where the drain would be and blow short bursts of compressed air or some water from a garden hose up the drain

hey i just posted a thread on this exact same topic... i'm in the process of figuring out what's going on. For a temporary fix i pulled up the carpet and the rubber up front and put towels down, then put a thin layer of plastic. Until i get it fixed it'll keep the water from getting to the carpet (as long as you change the towels regularly).
