2004 Impala LS dash - weird pointers
Our son has a 2004 Impala LS and I've been driving it lately. It appears that the dash indicators have all gone weird - at different times..... fuel, temp, speedo... They may not be reset to their home/zero position, and therefore their offset will be wrong and the indicated level will be wrong.
You can play with the on/off key - going on, off, on, etc and set, and reset the position of the pointers until they come to rest at their normal home position. Each of the 3 moving pointers tend to exhibit this randomly, and not at the same time. We just live with it, and notice the "zero" position prior to starting the car - which lets us know if they are going to be correct or wrong.... Has anyone else seen this weird behavour ?
