Well... I'm relatively new to this community, but here's my two cents' worth.
I drive a 1994 Caprice Classic wagon with an LT1, and absolutely, utterly, completely love this machine. It isn't perfect, and has a few interior cosmetic issues thanks to the previous owner, but man alive I can rely on it, I can leave all comers in the dust, and the sheer power of this wagon... yeah. Enough said. I do all I can to take very, very good care of it. I do get some guff from the uninformed - I've heard jokes about the "Land Yacht", and questions of whether I even need such a vehicle. All I can say is this...I use the space, I take my dog everywhere, I go on road trips, go camping, and sometimes run into people who DO understand what a great machine it is. I'm an American gal, my honey is a Marine, I'm tough as nails and I love driving a big wagon. I guess that's all there really is to say on the matter. ![]() |

That's the Texas Gentleman, all right. He's in really good shape all things considered - sadly, since the photo was taken an idiot in a Mountaineer backed into the passenger rear fender, leaving a 2-foot long dent. However, it's not so much to worry about - no paint damage, and I put some of the settlement money into new whitewalls and engine maintenance. He's a very happy wagon, and deeply loved. :)

But I have a questions for you females that I would like to have you guys answer. #1 What year Impala do you guys prefer? Why? #2 Do you girls even give a rats aSS about front and rear wheel drive? #3 Does racing your car on a track even sound fun to you? |

1. i actually prefer the 2000-2005 body style, i dunno i guess i just like the sporty body style conpared to the boat sytle.... HOWEVER dont get me wrong i also like the 1994-1996...i just prefer the body style that i own (2004), i just wish mine was RWD instead of FWD. 2. i myself do give a rats ass about front and rear wheel drive in my book front wheel drive sucks, but then again i am a car freak pretty much.... thats why i want to be a tech when iam done with school. honestly FWD doesnt really get you anywhere, thats why i wish all cars were RWD instead of FWD. and finally... 3. racing my car on a track does sound like a whole lot of fun to me, i want to do it someday. BUT not right now, my car has a few minor suspension problems that i need to get squared away before i ever attempt to race it. that and a few engine mods to make it go faster since it is all stock still. but hopefully someday it sounds like tons of fun!!! __________________ Stacey proud owner of a 2004 LS and your MOM |
