3.9 L performance chip
Hi,
My wife has an 06' LT Impala with the 3.9 liter engine. Whenever I drive it, it drives me nuts with the sluggish throttle tip in and response. These engines are throttle by wire so I would assume it is in the ECU programing.  Has anyone installed one of the JET chips and has this made any difference? Is there any other options into making the car a little more lively off the line. I know the car has plenty of power it just takes mashing the pedal all the way to the floor to get it. Do NOT buy from JET they suck and they're increased hp numbers are very off and old. the best place to get your 3900 tuned is Westers or Vector. you can take your imapala to a westers authorized dealer if you want. those are your best choices. i ahve a westers tune for my G6 GTP 3900.
