hvac vents
My hvac vents (dash vents, that blow in your face): some of the fins that point the air left or right seem to be broken, or they don't follow the turn wheel. They just sit there like they are out of the track or something. Is this an easy fix?

Well, I don't know what the problem is, but if it helps you at all, the whole "wood" section of the dash comes out, and those come out with it. That would probably make it easier to work on, if you need to

Well, that was super easy to get out. As you can see in the pic, the fins are supposed to be attached to that guider, but have broken off. Three of the four vents are like this :(
I purchased this from the Chevy Dealer in town (used) back in December. The vents were like it when I bought it :( Maybe some super glue will fix it? __________________ 2008 Gray Impala LTZ Love this thing. |

I'd try some sort of glue

I'm sure you can get it from the dealer, but I'm also sure it will cost a vast fortune. As Burt suggested, I would try either super glue, or a plastic epoxy, I would also clean everything really good. I wouldn't be surprised if there is something sticky in there from the previous owner, which is probably why it broke to start with, so if you don't clean it, it will probably break again.
