Ok ok Boss is bias... he's Flowmaster's unofficial spokesman.

Now, here are the facts, straight up:
-->They will fit. They will sound great, on the outside and the inside. They don't flow well at all, so if its performance gains your after, look elsewhere. ALSO, this is the biggest "problem" with any flowmaster muffler. They DRONE LIKE MAD. People can deny it all they want but facts are facts. Unless you x-pipe them or take some precautions, they will drone and you will notice it.

Conclusion you should draw from what i said? Simple; they do sound great, they will fit. Boss is right, you will probably love them. Just beware of the drone factor, and like I said if it's performance numbers your after, look elsewhere before purchasing the 44s.

Hope this helped, and good luck! Be sure to post pics/ vids when you do decide which to go with

if i had a SS i would put either a magnaflow or a SLP muffler cuz they flow great and sound amazing. not to say that flowmaster's dont sound great or anything like that.

Dynomax VT is something to look into as well. And any Spintech mufflers will have great flow.

i'm not sure how the 8th gens exhaust is.. but ask them about an x-pipe installation (cost and everything). It is definitely worth considering.

Drone is where you can always hear them even when cruising at a constant speed

Drone is a painful sound at highway speeds. I have a FlowMaster Series 50 cat back system on my Vette and I would install them on the Impala if they were available.
