'13 Impala 3.6 pwr steering reservoir hose

2013 Impala LTZ 3.6L

I have disconnected the power steering reservoir hose from the upper reservoir and also removed the lower clamp on the hose where it connects to the pump. How do I disconnect the hose from the lower reservoir/pump itself? The clamp has been slid all the way up the hose, and I still can't get the hose to come loose from the pump. Just keep pulling on it?

I usually try to twist the hose first to break it free a little. Once you can see it rotating when you twist it, then try pulling it off. Sometimes they get stuck on there pretty good and just need to break free first.
