I have a knob you can have as long as you cover shipping. That said, I can also pull a boot for you on Monday when I am at the yard.

How hard is it to pull the boot off? So I can replace the boot and knob without changing out the shaft? Sorry about the stupid questions, haven't done anything work on this car myself and just want to make sure I cover my bases before I mess something up. I found a shifter assembly online that had the whole assembly, but wanted to see if I could go an easier way. So getting the boot and knob would fix what is wrong with mine?
Thanks again and sorry again for all the dumb questions.

The boot has an elasticy band at the top so you just pull down on it. The bottom requires you to pull up the black plate around the shifter and remove the bottom retaining ring.

The knob has a small horse shoe clip that can be removed with a flathead once the boot is removed. It's on the front face of the knob (side away from you).

Cool sounds great, I'd love to take you up on that offer, is it alright if PM you to set it up?
