Security Light Came On

Today I got in my car, this afternoon, and started up and as I was driving I noticed the Security light was on. Everything was working fine, just the light was on. Wasn't on this morning. Early or mid last week I switched to using my spare set of key/fob as my primary because my old fob is unreliable, so I switched the key and fob to the spare. No light til today.

Does it come on when you first start the car and if so, can you turn the car back off for a few seconds and then restart the car and the light is gone? Or does it come on after you have been driving for awhile?

I got in this afternoon, started it, light on. Drove for 10-20 mins, shut it off, restarded like 15-30secs later, light on immediately.

Sometimes I start my car and the security light comes on. I turn it off real quick and then a few seconds later I restart the car and it is gone. MY BCM is my problem and I deal with it for now. If and when your car starts making you wait 10 minutes before you can restart it then it is your passlock.
