It's a little tight, but you should be able to remove it just fine. It's not geared into the engine or anything.

I'd recommend rolling the engine forward with a tow strap to give you a little more room. Undo the four bolts that are holding the pulley on, then the associated bolts holding the pump on. I wanna say its four small bolts and four larger ones (going from memory here)

Nice

Can you tell me how do you know it was your pump? I change my radiator, I change my thermostat and I'm still leaking fluids. I don't understand I don't run hot but in the radiator it has 2 lines for the transmission connectors and they are leaking trans fluid. I change the connectors also and still I see fluids everywhere?

The oil was because of the trans line connector to radiator I didn't tight one up good. Its my water pump and wheel barrings. I'm getting the parts today and staring late today or tomorrow morning but making Visual Waltkthrough Water Pump and Wheel Barrings. Was it hard to take power steerin pump? Thanks.

it's not terrible. Just time consuming. You have to remove the radiator reservoir first. Then the accessory belt. Then you can remove the three bolts on the power steering pump. You'll need either a 14 or 15mm socket for this. Use the holes in the power steering pulley to get to the bolts.

prob need to remove the "pulley" on the h2o pump too, there's 4 8mm (IIRC) bolts that hold it on

are we sure theres only 3 bolts holding the water pump on the front cover?Im too lazy to look and my SM is still down b/c someone forgot the discs last time he came over
