lots of little chips on headlights

since i got my 01 impala a year ago its had lots of little chips on the lights, they look like snow flakes, and it looks like they're on the inside of the lights, but im not sure. i've tried sanding them and bought some stuff from walmart that makes ur headlights look brand new, i think it would have worked if my lights were yellow or cloudy, but i still have all the little snow flakes on my headlights, anyone else have this problem? and do i just need to buy new headlights?

Its not glass, its clear plastic and those snow flakes are simply cracks and chips from sand, rocks and bugs you come across as you drive. Cheapest fix is replace them, they are cheap enough online and will make your car look very new/freshened up.

you cannot seperate these lights either. that baking method does not work on these lights, they are chemically sealed. i would suggest looking on ebay.
