Replacement Key

My dad owns a 1996 Impala SS and I lost the key! We have a spare but I wanted to know how much would a replacement key cost nowadays if they still even make them??

The info you need is in this thread. Then just order one of those blanks from ebay, and have a COMPETENT local cut it.

Take a meter, and get a reading across the resistor. The resistance should fall into one of the blanks listed below. Then just buy a blank where your resistance falls into. Ebay search "VATS key"

And 5 other LT1 powered land yachts Is there Rehab for this Sh*t?

I want to find a box of the blanks, without the resistors. I need some test subjects. Plus, alot of mine have the VATS turned off in the PCM. The GM blank A, is too short, and you have to grind it down. Looks ghetto as hell.
