Angry 95 ss heating problems

Ok, I have a 95 impala ss, and I changed the heater core about 10 or 11 months ago, heat has been working fine ever since...until recently. Now i4 doesn't work, I've changed the thermostat, and I've squeezed on the radiator hoses to break up any gunk that may be in them, the heat will work litterally for 5 sec then stop. What is the problem? Its really frustrating because its about that time of year for heat to be working and it all of a sudden is not! Help me please!

Sounds like the heater core needs to be flushed. I had the same exact thing happen to my car, flushed it and worked great!
