That is a great start. You want to go further look at my posts, just in the last week or so I posted a big list of things.
My car is maybe a bit more than most are looking for but still a good template to look at.

I would also recommend see what other BBODY enthusaist are around your location(s) club of some sort.
that really helped me understand the SS a little more.

my suggestion
change your differential gear ratio,
maybe 3.73 ;)

^^ What he said. Also, do you have a cold air intake on it? Then a performance tune will help you out a lot.

Well before you do gears (3.73) of higher stall TC you need install a cold air intake and get a performance tune. Then see if you are happy with the performance.

Agree with you Jim,
But if you decide on 3.73's, you might want to get the tune afterwards.

Are you running stock wheels by the way?

As far as intake, I had the K&N set up, now the RAISS
What are you willing to spend? I know some guys who spend very little and customize it really sweet...
Once you get the intake you can start looking into an exhaust set up...

Man, it can keep going.. and going...
Good Luck..
