Full Tune up on 1987 Caprice Brougham?
I just bought an older car. 1987 Caprice Brougham.
I dont know what needs to be done to it or when anything was last done to it. Im told it just needs a tune-up. I called several places and they said for a basic tune-up it is $120 and for a full tune-up it is $500? What is a full tune up and for $500 for a '87 Chevy Caprice?

FULL TUNE UP IS,cap and rotor,spark plugs,wires,air filter,gas filter,pcv valve,and possibly check timing,most of it u could do yourself,buy a chilton or haynes book on your car and take your time and use right tools,basic tune up would just b replacing plugs
