yo whats up i'm new this is my first post so what up impalaforums!

thinking about getting a 94 caprice thats light blue metallic u know kinda silver.. anyways i think i'm going to paint it black how much do you think a pint job should cost?

it's a 5.7 V8..fuckin stoked

Painting that car will cost a lot more to make it black than just a repaint. To do a color change, the engine bay and all the door interiors would need to be resprayed so no blue is left.

okay got ya. i'm going to keep it blue then i think. i was considering painting it black because on the front bumper the paint is peeling. the rest of the car is pretty clean as far as paint so I think maybe I'll just get the front bumper repainted. ha i kinda liked the blue anyways

(OH YEAH. some of the chrome is yellowing hardcore so that's why i was thinking about repainting it too. you cant see it in the pic but when i chicked out the car in person i saw it and was bummed. any suggestions about to do? paint the yellowing chrome? )

There is this cool stuff called Plasti-Dip that a lot of guys here are in love with. Maybe look up some of the threads and get some ideas from them.

good looking PaPa D and thanks Joe. will consider the pasti-dip but i think i'm going to keep the blue for a while at least..

thinking about putting Impala rims on it.. (WILL NOT BE PUTTING IMPALA BADGES ON IT BECAUSE I THINK THAT'S STUPID. WILL KEEP IT SAYING CAPRICE CLASSIC ON THE BACK AND MOST DEF KEEP THE LS BADGES)

The yellowing chrome is actually a layer of plastic on top of the chrome, it's a bitch, but you can peel it off.
