Jegs Exhaust on 4.3L

Has anyone put the Jegs brand exhaust on their Classic 4.3? How was the fitment and is it even worth it? Also looking for any reviews for it and what you guys think.

Drastic overkill for the L99 but wont hurt anything. It sounds OK long as you have exhaust manifolds and cats, with headers it can get obnoxiously loud.

I know it's overkill, but it does need a new exhaust and I'd figure I'd get a little sound out of it.

You may also want to look at the Pypes system also.

Pypes Performance Exhaust - 1994-96 IMPALA SYSTEMS

You can tune to the sound you want with muffler choices.
I have not heard one of these systems. The way the system is you are
able to add resonators if you need to tame it down.

I would suggest that you have the system welded on and use band strap
clamps at the rear of the mufflers. Then you can take it off if you want.

Here are all of your options. All you need to do is figure out the drivers side hangers, and heat shields. You can get away without the shields, but it is not the best idea. If you have an inspection, you won't pass without the heat shields.

It is a lot of overkill. You will get a decent sounds out of it. If you had thought about doing an LT1 swap, this is one item you would want to have.
