hey whats up everyone i just bought a 9c and my gas gauge doesnt work. sometimes it goes up to 1/4 tank but thats it and its not accurate at the 1/4 tank mark what so ever. also my a/c or blower doesnt work it keeps blowing the fuse right as soon as i turn it on. and how do i find out what trans i have. it has a shift kit in it and g80 rear end and is there any way i can find out what my car was used for? i had the wheels off a trade and decided to throw them on just for the hell of it. i think they are ugly.

all 93+ lt1s got a 4l60e i believe and chevy didnt keep records on service for our old cars so u cant find out whats been replaced unless u have paperwork

u can guess on what your car was bye if it has holes drilled for antennas and if it has spot light holes

m car does not have holes anywhere in the body so i believe it was an undercover or a detectives but theres alot of crap that got ripped out of my car when they sold it theres wires running everywhere for sirens wig wags radio and lights

ya same here. my car has no holes cut or spot light holes. i was thinkin the same thing. thanks. still tryin to figure out the gas gauge situation

the fuel sending unit on yout pump is bad ive seen it numeorus times my sending unit does not go below a 1/4 tank so thats my empty lol

ever tank has its own story but im almost positive thats wat it is change ur filter sock and maybe the pump while your in there becasue it will go out sometime ( depending on mileage i got 240,000 on my car im sure its been replaced at least once


my first b body sat in some guys yard until i bought it the only reason i bought it without hearing it run was because it was a 350 it was cheap $750 and i was dumb but i took it home put stater fluid in it ( tbi not lt1 ) and it fired right up lol sold it and hate myself for it :confused::mad::eek:
