question about rear drive shaft

will a 93 buick roadmaster drive shaft fit on my 93 chevy caprice car-part .com says it doesn't interchange

I was under the impression that they should interchange.

I should first ask whether each car was a sedan or a wagon. The Caprice wagon and the Roadmaster wagon are almost identical in many aspects. I thought that the sedans were identical in drivetrains and wheelbase.
