master cylinder upgrade

hello out there iam new to the site. old nam vet. trying to put my 64 biscayne together.has any ever went fron the old single master cyl. to a fatrodder duel power brake system iam having trouble figuring out this setup.shouldent the brake pedal go to the floor if you have an empty master cyl. thanks roger

Roger if there is enough air in the lines the pedal will not go to the floor. That only happens if there is a opening in the line. ie. the bleeder valve open or a break somewhere. Hey I am also a Nam vet welcome home brother

Thanks for serving you guys. My Dad did three tours in Chu Lai from 69-71. i am in the ND National Guard. Congrats on getting back into cars. I may only be 33 but I was born in the wrong era. Buying a 58 Del Ray 4 door in the next couple weeks. Good luck on the Biscayne.
