What would the correct ignition timing be on a 1955 Bel Air Chevrolet...?

...with a 327 cubic-inch engine and a four-barrel carburetor?

It's a trick question, but WHY is it a trick question.

Because in 1955 it would have had a straight six or the first introduction of the Gen. 1 v-8, 265 cu.inch. The 327 was not introduced intil 1962? or so.

Why is it a trick question? i'm sure there has been plenty of 55 bel air's with 327s. or even big blocks or ls1.

Just because the 327 wan't introduced untill 62 and didn't come in the bel air with a 4 bbl till 64 should not be a point.

It's a trick question, nobody can answer that question!

If you don't believe me ask the out of work hairdresser Mona Lisa Vito. She knows the answer.
