engine coolant light

Damn coolant light wont go off! It was low when it first came on and i filled it and still was on (no biggie). It ended up being low again so i refilled it, and still the light was on. After driving it for a couple days and the coolant level not going down the light is still on. Any ideas?

Cool thanks! I never thought of that. I did the same thing before on the wiper fluid sensor.

Mine did the same thing. found the sensor was bad. Its basically just a switch.
