Get the HELP brand ones, they are rollers which are far more reliable. Buy extras too. Usually just one on each window will break.

We sell the "sliders" rather than the rollers. Either one will fail if you do not grease the tracks. Tracks greased, they will both last as long.

Cool installation

do you replace the pin as well, or just snap new ones in place, what holds the regulator on the pin.

I used a tiny C-clamp to push them on and that worked well. Once on they are so tight they won't fall off.

They make a grease called "trailer grease" I get at Ace Hardware I use on the tracks. They show a boat trailer on the tube. It's for boat trailers where you back the trailer right into the water, and the wheels are submerged in the ocean, so it's highly water proof. Spray white lithium grease is handy too.

I used a Dremel with a round rough grit sanding cylinder on it to grind off the ends of the track channels to get the rollers in there.

This "slider" problem is a funny one - it's happened in virtually 100% of the 3 bubble cars I've had. I didn't have this problem in one of the 1968 - 1989 GM cars (over a 100 windows!) I had in the 30+ previous years. That's a bad ratio!
