Took some new pics today...

Took the car out today for a drive, since it isn't raining...

Took some new pics of the new valve covers w/ mirrored stainless trim and billet Mobil 1 cap.

Also added:

-mirrored stainless MAP cover
-chrome wiper motor cover
-mirrored stainless under hood fuse box cover with the Buick Tri-Shield.
-fuel pressure gauge

It's tough to get all the reflective surfaces to cooperate in photos....

Pics of reflective surfaces never do them justice ;)

Here you go:

This pic shows the shiny stuff the best:

This pic shows off the valve cover trim well. It was taken before the chrome wiper motor mod.

Almost ready for show season ;)

I still have to install the polished billet coolant cap.

That engine looks clean enough, may be even cleaner than a resturant buffet plate, to eat off of, LOL. That is one clean and shine engine compartment. Your car looks like it just rolled off the assembly line, not its actual age. Great work on this wonderful machine.
What's in the plans for next season?

Thanks Kenny

I'd love to do a heads / cam package from Advanced Induction.

Either that, or do a cam swap, with a slightly tweaked GM 845 Cam on this engine, and then save the AI heads/cam for the 383.

It would give me the chance to do some better detailing in the engine bay too.

I'm just not sure I want to dig into this engine, or if I should wait until I can afford the 383 stroker motor that I want.

I have heard that many guys do cam swaps on engines with 100K and have no problems, and some guys spin bearings soon afterwards.

I know my car was babied and meticulously maintained by the previous owner, but I still am undecided....

I still have a lot of parts needed for the T-56 swap, so that's a way's off.

Mainly, I'd like to get the ram air hood this year. That would be my biggest goal. Then I could install it, let it cure, and paint it next winter.

Thanks again for the props.

Stewart

Hey Stewart,
Does the Garage allow you to upload more than 20 pictures? Let me know, if not I'll look into modifying it to allow a lot more.

Alright RoadMaster, members can now upload a maximum of 100 pictures to their garages, and have a maximum of 20 garages.
