short ram intake vs stock intake?

I have a 2002 sunfire 2.2L non-ecotec. How much of a difference is short ram vs the stock aifilter?

According to the manufacturers, these can improve power from 5 to 10 hp. That is only at high RPM and would really only be noticeable at a drag strip. It looks good but won't help much around town, you need more low-end torque to help you there.

its a start. your stock air filter is tiny. so a big 3" filter is going to be giving your engine more air. and if you dont get the short ram for power, get it for the gas millage.

ram intake can take more air to the engine, it gives more kick to your engine coz it allows the immediate flow of cold air. Then replace your headers with bigger ones and change the whole pipings of the car.
