Airfilter Change on 3.4 liter Engine

this is gona sound really dumb but i would like to know how do the dealerships pull the airfilter out of a 2000-2005 impala if the bloody pipe is hard as hell to move????? dose anyone know how to do this ??

unscrew the clamp on the throttle body, and pop off the rubber hose with the air filter cover
