Transmission temperature

Hello all,

'13 LTZ 75k. I've been having some issues with the transmission, which the dealer will be looking at. When I took it to the dealer 6,000 miles ago for a tranny fluid drain and fill it got over filled by half a quart, which I fixed. I've been driving around with my scan tool hooked up and watching a few things, I've noticed the fluid temperature runs around 205, is this normal? It just seems a bit high to me. I don't know if the part that I think needs replaced could affect this (code p0989) or if driving with it overfilled damaged something that's making it run hotter?. Also does this car have a transmission cooler in it? I'm not sure if they all do or just the police models. Is there anything I can do to help cool down the tranny or is the temperature not an issue? Thanks.

I've monitored the trans temp in my 2012 for a while and it did get up over 200F at times when it was really hot out. I would worry at all if stays under 230F. I think that 260F is the "official" over-temp temperature for these (not 100% positive, but that temp seems stick out in my mind).
