I have a 2007 chevy impala ls and want to hook up my 2 12" subs.do i need...

...any special parts for this?

HU is head unit, like an aftermarket cd player, they help with amp controlls and stuff, but if you want to keep your stock dash set up as is, then you would need some sort of line converter, the only one i can think of is the rockford fosgate 3 sixty, ive never ever been in an impala that new, pm me if youve got any questions or if you want to run a new cd player or keep the stock one and go from there, i may not know much, but i can get you in touch with people who do
