Hello all...
I've recently purchased a 2017 Impala.
I'm finding that the display is VERY bright during the lighting around dusk and dawn. Even more noticeable during night hours. This also applies to the Driver Information Center (or DIC).
After reading through my instruction manuals, a couple quick tip guides, and several google searches... I've only found one way to "dim" the lights... and that is by using the 'Instrument Panel Illumination Control' - the small wheel next to the parking break. My issue when using this ... by the time I get the displays to the right level of "dimness"... the other lights are too dim.
Is there any way to dim the lighting on just the main display and the DIC? - Without dimming the entire instrument panel?
Thanks in advance for any advice!
