First post!!
I purchased the Peripheral GMAHLANB adaptor interface for my 2007 Impala LTZ to use with a Pioneer deck. This interface boasts that you will retain Onstar (don't care, don't use), chimes (check) factory (BOSE) amplifier (check) and SWC. The issue I ran into is the SWC: I don't know where to connect that wire to. Everything else so far works as described and I am extremely pleased with the sound I am getting out of this deck.
The instructions that came with this adaptor state the following:
"The Blue wire is a SWC Output wire. Do not connect this wire to anything other than the green interface wire of a PESWI-X, AKJ, ECL or PS
Does anyone know where I find this green wire or do I require some secondary SWC adaptor to use with this one? Based on how this is advertised - simple plug and play - I wouldn't think so but I could be wrong.
Does anyone have any insight into this or may have installed this same adaptor and successfully retained the SWC's?
Thanks - Love this forum and loving my car (first time Impala owner).
