Dead Pedal

Has anyone here heard of or seen a 'dead pedal' for a 2011 Impala ? I am looking for something to put there to keep from constantly stepping on this area...

No, but I want one, VERY badly. Please let us know if you find something. I have thought about making one, but have never really had a clear vision of how to do it so it looks OEM.

And Welcome to the Forum!

This is my first car/truck in a while without one. They are not usually that big. Just black "blocks". Saves the carpet and comfortable to boot!

I'd love one, it bothers me during the winter or if my shoes are dirty.

I have thought about trying to make a dead pedal for mine. What to make it out of is another question entirely.

Exactly my problem. Maybe I will call a trim shop, as a vinyl one is fine too...more of a protected foot rest than a true dead pedal, but still better than nothing.

it seems like itd be pretty easy to make... just make a template using paper or cardboard and transfer onto a sheet of 1/8 aluminum. Cut with a grinding wheel and then add a design. Getting it to stick cleanly would be the challenge.

You could even add like stick on rubber grips to make it look more like a pedal.
