the black strip on tail lights

Can the black strip on the tail light be replace with one that matches the paint of the car
its an 04 impala ls

It can be painted, or there's a cover that goes on it. The reverse lights are in there tho, its not just a piece of plastic.

Duplicolor makes paint that's supposed to be the same color, or have a body shop do it.

i dont really know why people like those coves so much. i find them pretty damn fugly hahaha but thats just me. i think the ones that look the best are the ones with the black plastic, the the ones with that red burgundy crap arpund them.

the only color that can get away with those tali light covers is a black SS. there is a silver one and white one driving around town with em and it looks a bit tacky to me. it just seems like they dont sit flush and there is space around it lol idk i guess im one of the few that don't like em haha

Mine sit pretty well I think....I prefer these over both burgandy and black surrounds. covers>Black>no tail lights>burgandy

they would be better if they sat flush and were a one piece. like the cover sat over flush with the light and it looked smooth. thats just me.
