what does it take to de badge an 01 impala

what does it take to have the badges off? is it double sided tape

01 Impala De Badge

I have used 80 LB fishing line and used it like floss between your teeth.
You will have to run the fishing line back and forth between the badge and the car body. You will have to rub out and wax the area where the badges were.

The fishing line works very well... It also helps to heat up the emblem with a hairdryer first.
