BC Racing Coilovers

ZZP has them up on their site now. Now we have a option between them and Intense Racing. This will be my next mod for me personally.

2004 Pontiac GTO
- Garage queen from day 1... bought brand new 12/31/04... Quick Silver Metallic/Black/6 speed... too much to list
2004 GMC Yukon SLT
- Wife's DD... bone freakin stock

No they definitely aren't cheap. I'm working on funding them now. Selling a old set of rims and I'll most likely post my Monroe struts/Cunuk 97-03 GP springs for sale. They are just sitting in the garage. I have no use for them, they won't work on my SS with my current tire set up.

I had just been thinking about coilovers when ZZP put these on their site. Man these are sweet! Adjustable ride height and dampening/stiffness plus front camber adjustment on the shock I believe....sign me up.
I'm going to wait until black Friday and see if they go on sale. If they do I'd better have saved up the money

Haha yeah you could buy a winter beater at least lol. The struts on my car have seen better days. 147,000 miles later on what I assume is the stock strut. Spent $2,000 on wheels and tires. This will be my last big purchase until the trans craps out. At that point Triple Edge Performance will get a customer. After that I'll toy with some engine work. I'm not going to add more power and speed up the transmission failure that's bound to happen.

That's a great way of looking at it! Someone who doesn't do their own work would spend $6-800 on shocks all around so for those of us who do their own work and want the best performance, it's worth it. I put Monroe quickstruts on about 46,000MI ago and haven't been impressed with them. The rear end actually does look lowered due to the sagging going on but the shock performance is terrible. I am assuming I have the original front shocks at 184,000MI but not 100% sure. Anyway it's time for an upgrade and if I will spend 7-800 on lowering springs and everything, why not get the best of both worlds?! ZZP sometimes takes a really long time to release a product, but when they do, it's top of the line.

I actually have a set of Monroe quick struts with CM 97-03 Grand Prix lowering springs I'm looking to get rid of. The struts new ran me about $400 and $220ish for the springs including shipping. I had them on my old LT for maybe 500 miles at the most before I was T-boned.. which led to my SS purchase. I can't use them on my SS with the wider wheels so I'm trying to sell them to fund the project. I'll list them on here soon once I take some pictures.

Yes they do. I have a 8th Gen SS which has 18" wheels stock. I have my summer wheels on it right now which are 19x8.5 and the barely clear the stock struts that are made for 18's. They've seen better days. So I'd either need to buy AGX struts and swap my lowering springs over from the Monroe ones collecting dust. Or the route I'm going and just getting coilovers. One day I'll actually take pictures of the Monroe struts to sell on here lol

They changed the price yesterday. Then they updated it today so you can choose if you want the top plates or not. Although I should wait until a pay a couple things off it's hard not to jump at this now..
