Overkill tune questions?

For those of you that have a Overkill tune, does this tune help MPG? I was thinking of getting one, but I would have to sell my wife on it first.

I have a 2007 chevy impala with the 3.5L

Does it interfere with the remote start? Is everybody pleased or unpleased with their tune?

I love my tune on my 03 LS. It is tuned for a balance of performance and efficiency, so you will see a bump in both. Though MPG depends on how you drive. I have driven a little heavier since I got mine. What can I say, it's fun. lol

If its about convincing the wife, then yes, it will get WAY better mileage, and will actually start producing precious gemstones instead of regular emissions. If you want to really know, then just go by what DonMateo just said.

I see it more as a pleasure mod than anything for economy. I never bother to calculate gas mileage, but my average mpg readout on the car has gone up by a whopping 1mpg which COULD prove to be credible information since my foot has gotten a tad heavier at the same time.

It hasn't effected my remote start or anything else on the car. Full throttle it shuts off the ac though which isn't really too noticeable(blower stays on). The fans also stay running after you shut off the car for about a minute which can lead others to believe that you accidentally walked away from it running. So basically do a forum search and read the countless topics on overkill tunes and make your own assessment.

So, do you have to do a crank relearn with this?

Not usually, but it is sometimes needed.
