Currently my 08 LS 3.5L has a cold air intake (for most of the life of the car). Could this modification lead to the notorious p0455 code reading?...I'v had the "code" on and off for 3 years...I'v had 3 or 4? new gas caps- lockable and std, they always helped at 1st so i could pass N.Y.State inspection hahaa.

(Maybe this is a repost, or the idea is just crazy....either or- sorry if i wasted ur time)

Thanks.

I don't think so, typically its either the evap purge solenoid, or the valve. One is on the driver side top of the engine, one is by the fuel filler door. The one by the fuel filler you can remove and clean up to fix usually, the one on the motor needs replaced, but both are fairly cheap.

Pretty much the same car, powertrain is all GM regardless of the Australian thing.
